How do you know if your baby is in posterior or anterior position Lock Rss

Hi everyone

How does one know if your baby is in posterior or anterior position.

I am now 36 weeks and know the head is down but that is it?

Any ideas?
Hi

My first baby was posterior and was throughout my pregnancy. The midwives or your doctor should be able to tell your baby's position at your appointments. I noticed the difference between my first and second babies as the first baby all the kicks were felt at the front, it was like she was an octopus. My second baby I felt the kicks at the side more than anything and she was on the side.

Hope this helps!

Hi dear I am now pregnant with my second child. Don't worry too much because depending on what you are doing bub will keep changing around but I know that if you feel nice and round in the belly bub is around the right way and if your tummy is feeling a little flat bub is the wrong way. If you slouch a lot bub will go the wrong way so try to keep your back straight and shoulders back and bub will be fine. My son twisted around a lot and he was born perfectly fine
