present for a my 2 year old daughter.. help any ideas?????l Lock Rss

hi, my daughter's 2nd birthday is coming up and i have no idea what to get her. i know they say at this age its good to get her toys that stimulate the brain but she already has some of these! any ideass would be appreciated.. thanx
Here are a few ideas that our DD loved/loves:

* Toy kitchen set, shopping trolley and toy groceries.
* Wooden Puzzles and wooden toys with shapes, counting etc.
* DVD's - right into Dora (who isn't - lol).
* Books - she always gets half a dozen books.
* Colouring in stuff - books, crayons, pencils, stickers etc.
* Outdoor play like slippery dip, swing, sandpit
* Art eisle and paints / chalks
* Doll - with an accessory bag with a bottle, potty etc
* Cars and a little track, hours of fun
* My Little Pony - geeze the girls seem to love them.
* Trike and/or parent handle bike - very handy in deed.

Thats enough for now, good luck!

DD is 3yr 8 months - DS is 6 months

All of the suggestions already listed are fantastic. We just got our 2 year old DD a battery operated ride on car and a trike that can be adult or child operated. she loves both. Also gardening tools for kids she loves getting dirty in the garden.
Good luck and i hope you guys enjoy her birthday.

everything kazi listed is wonderful!

remember that other people tend to buy for your child aswell so i think its best not to go overboard so she isnt overwhelmed and its always hard to find new places to put things after the birthday is over with. wooden puzzles and colouring stuff went down a treat with my daughter smile

hi
my middle one is comgin up 2 in march and I am going to get her a dolls house, i saw Big W had one for $140 that looked excellent with furniture and everything. it's tall but skinny so wont take up tooo much room.
(and trust me in my house it will get a lot of use!!)

for a little present i would say a cheap doll's pram, or wooden jigsaw puzzles.
