How can I get plaster off without hurting baby's skin and hair? Lock Rss

My poor 15mth old son had a bad fall on his forehead that needed a single stitch and I'm to change the plaster. I'm finding it hard to do it as he feels the pain when I peel it off. Any idea how to do it painlessly?

Please help.

Thanks.
The chemist has a product called "Zoff "which dissolves sticky... or you could buy some "Remove" wipes also from the chemist... basically the same stuff and designed for removing sticky.
perhaps a little bit of baby oil too? i use that when DD has a bandaid but not sure if you should let it come in contact with the stitches
