It can be hard finding something that entertains and that lasts: Here are some that you might like to try:

* Save lids from milk or juice bottles. We stack them, roll them down a book to see how far they will go. You could use them for colour recognition or counting etc.
* Save a few lids of pasta sauce jars (or other similar jars with the pop up in the middle. Use them as instruments!!
* Use some old small plastic bottles for shakers - place a small amount of uncooked rice or pasta in a bowl with some food colouring then once dry, place into the container and Shake!
*Get a small watering can or use your garden hose and see if she will help with watering the garden or maybe her own couple of potplants. Water restrictions might affect whether you can do this one or not.
*Storytime at your local library is also a great way to spend some time. They usually offer a craft activity after songs and rhymes etc. It is usually free and is a great thing for their socialising too.
*Blow up a balloon and play balloon tennis or something like that (I've been told you can put the balloon in a net bag (like a fruit bag) if you are concerned about the balloon breaking, ingestion etc)

There are a few anyway. If I think of any others, I shall let you know!

Have fun playing!
