13month old - snacks Rss

Hi All,

I have a 13month old son.
Was wondering if anyone has any ideas on what I can give him for afternoon tea.
At the moment he either has plain biscuits or vegemite biscuits

Hi Michelle, his snacks are only limited by your imagination!! usual snacks that my son has are just fruit, yoghurt, cheese, sultanas, rice crackers with vegemite or advocado etc, noodles. I try to make it fruit as much as possible though. Oh I forgot one of his favourites- mini muffins. They are great as you can add stuff to them like fruit or vegies and have savoury ones. Hope this is some help.

Maya is 14 mths, I give her Shapes crackers, muffins (she loves them), little boxes of raisins or sultanas (also good for developing fine motor skills), fresh fruit, carrot sticks, little marmite or jam sandwiches, oven baked apple fruit bars (Homebrand from Woolies), bread sticks, cucumber slices, plain boiled pasta shapes (the colored ones), toast fingers...
And she is allergic to milk, egg, soy and peanut, so all of these suggestions are milk, egg, soy and peanut free
Have fun....I love meal times!
