Hi Just wondering how much milk a almost three year old should have. I can only get about 200-300mls in him. he does not eat much other diary does not like yoghurt usually has about 203 cheese slices a day this is all.

i say that should be ok amount of milk my son is on a special diet of 600ml milk a day but that is because he isnt putting ne weight on so having fun with that at the moment.

This link tells you how much calcium is needed for children of all ages. It recommends 700mg of calcium for children aged 2-3. ( Almost 300mg in a cup of full fat milk). It also provides alternative calcium sources for those kiddies who are fussy with the amount of milk they drink.
