Can teething cause swelling of face Lock Rss

My little girl is 18mnths and has 4 teeth. In the past week she had a temperature (which has now subsided) but I have noticed her gums are really inflamed and her face sometimes is swollen. Could this be due to her maybe 'molars' coming through? Has anyone else had their little ones face swell up like this?

When my daughters top and bottom front teeth were coming through her gums and cheeks were very red and swollen. She hasn't shown any outwards signs with her molars, but i'm sure it can happen.

Kind Regards

If I were you, I must admit I'd take her to the doctor if she is swollen with a fever. I'm not the sort who runs to the dr for every ailment, but I think to be on the safe side, it's best not to ever ignore swelling.
