crying/whimpering/sobbing whilst asleep Lock Rss

my daughter has done this quite a few times over the past month. she will sob like she is crying in her sleep and i try and comfort her but i end up waking her up to reassure her that everything is ok. is she dreaming or what i get so upset to see her like that

24 year old mum to 2 beautiful girls

it sounds like nightmares to me, I would suggest seeing a baby health nurse or Dr to see if they can give you any suggestions

My daughter occasionally does the same thing but is a healthy, happy little girl who is a great sleeper. Nobody likes to think their child is upset, but I think it is just a part of dreaming - we all make noises when we sleep.

If she doesn't wake herself up then I don't think you have anything to worry about. Talk to your Child Health Nurse or GP if you are worried.
