Footprints Lock Rss

I want to take the footprints and handprints of my twins to put in their baby book. I was given a clay kit to use as a keepsake, but want to put the prints directly into the book.

I don't think I should cover their feet and hands in ink to do this. Any other safer suggestions?

how about just paint?

I did my daughter's footprint using ink from an inkpad for her baby book. It turned out really well. As soon as I'd done it, I quickly washed her foot using soap and warm water, and it washed straight off!!
my hubby made my mums day card with bennetts feet using an ink pad - it worked really well and washed straight off.

non toxic paint will be fine but is a lot thicker than ink so might not be as clear
