Girls Clothes for Winter Lock Rss

I have just recently started a handmade FB page opening in April and I just need some suggestions on what to make for girls for winter. I have heaps of ideas for boys but i'm a bit stuck on girls as DD1 is a tom boy and DD2 was a baby so mostly in all in one suits last winter.
I like making dresses and you can put things underneath them!!
Going by my nieces...

* Little chunky cardies with skirts (cord, denim or tartan etc)
* Cord jackets (especially with cute lining or details on pockets etc). Would be great with a lined hood you could press-stud on or off!
* Jeans and cords (but very rarely overalls!)
* Hats, including knitted/crocheted beanies and scarves (but no gloves come to think of it!)

Nawww...no girls on the horizon for me, so I'm just excited you have lots of ideas for boys!

Oh man. I accidentally walked into a shop that sold high brand baby clothes.
There was this GORGEOUS little cord jacket by Elle that I loooved, but refuse to spend $180 on something she'll wear for three months...
My girls are usually dressed in tracksuit pants or jeans, long sleeve tee's and a hoodie. I don't really dress them in "pretty" things like dresses, it gets quite cold where I live, and I don't want them to freeze! Plus they look and seem more comfy in pants.

That's the same as me which is why i'm unsure, we live in a cool area so they need to be warmly dressed and DD1 generally just wears jeans, trackies and zip up hoodies but I know others especially in places where it doesn't get quite so cold like more girly items.

Thanks for all the suggestions so far, got some ideas happening in my head already smile
i dont really do dresses but for winter i will spend stacks on coats, jackets, long sleeve tees, hoodies, trackies, ballet like leggings and jeans.

i find with dresses you have to put something under and over in order for it to be practical for winter and that to me is just too much washing. plus, i dont really like dresses lol.

oh and cool hats. knitted ones, crochet ones, love love love hats on girls.
This is the jacket, but it was made from either mink or a really soft cord, in dark khaki/green with floral lining.

Wow that's a lot to pay for something like that! Thanks for posting the photo always helps get the creative juices flowing.
Also another question do you prefer single items, sets or items done in similar colours so they mix and match?
what will be the name of ur fb page i so have to check it out
Not much up there at the moment but there are some samples i'm giving away if anyone has kids in the right sizes. Here is the link, I would have posted it in the original post but I didn't want people thinking I was just looking for people to like my page if you know what I mean? Planning on starting some exciting new projects tonight, now if only I could convince my kids to go to bed <img src="https://www.huggies.com.au/forum/public/style_em..." class="bbc_emoticon" alt="<_<" />
