Wasn't happy jan <_< Lock Rss

Well DF took me out for dinner last night to la porchetta..which NEVER happens laugh anyhow when we got there..we find out that you have to actually sit at a table with everyone else in the restaurant...

Now i dont know about everyone else but when i go out i like to have my meal and conversation between my fiancee and I only blink..and i just don't like sitting with complete strangers trying to make awkward conversation..and big crowds make me have a panick attack..and DF is what you would sort of call abit antisocial at times lol

so needless to say dinner didn't happen..

SO there I was..all dressed nice...sitting in a booth..at hungry jacks <img src='https://www.huggies.com.au/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dry.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='<_<' />
What??? That's a bit odd that they would make you do that. Did you have a booking or did you just turn up and they wanted to sit you wherever they could fit you? If it was the former, I would expect that when you book a table for 2, you get just that. Sorry that your nice dinner out didn't happen sad It wasn't like that when we went there.

Yeah I had a booking and everything sad

There were no available tables when we got there though and they were going to sit us at this long table with everyone else blink

Maybe they're different everywhere lol
We have one near us, we've been there twice and never again. Maybe ours should start sitting strangers together; it might distract from the crap food and bad service! (I was going to comment on your original thread but decided all restaurants are not created equal so I didn't want to turn you off.)

Hungry jacks may not be romantic but their burgers beat soggy, overcooked pasta and frozen parmigana any day of the week!

You can grow flowers or you can grow weeds.

Hey dazzler,

How rude. I wound not be hapy either. Give them a ring and ask them if this is how they manage all booking

Cheeky buggers

I went their moons ago and swore I would never go back. Cold food, and crappy service...missed orders.
