Quick Cooking Question! Lock Rss

Depends on what you are baking. Pastry I always use egg and milk, but biscuits or scones I just brush a bit of milk on top smile
I don't brush my biscuits with anything skip. The easiest and yummiest ones I make are shortbread. It's pretty much flour, butter & sugar. Then you roll them in icing sugar when they're cooked.... Mmmmmm guess what I want to cook now.

Oh and jam drops, old fashioned but they're yummy!

They are bickies with a drop of jam in the middle, I'm just at the school waiting for dd, then she has gymnastics so not home til 5pm but can give you the recipe then. There might be some recipes on google if you want to check them out but!
