A new virus has just been discovered that has be en classified by Microsoft

as the most destructive ever. This virus was discovered yesterday afternoon

by McAfee . This virus simply destroys Sector Zero from the hard disk,

where vital information for its functioning are stored. This virus acts in

the following manner: It sends itself automatically to all contacts on your

list with the title: "A Card for You".

As soon as the supposed virtual card is opened the computer freezes so that

the user has to reboot. When the ctrl+alt+ del keys or the reset button are

pressed, the virus destroys Sector Zero, thus permanently destroying the

hard disk. Yesterday in just a few hours this virus caused panic in New York

, according to news broadcast by CNN.

This alert was received by an employee of Microsoft itself. So don't open

any mails with subject: "A Virtual Card for You." As soon as you get the

mail, delete it !! Even if you know the sender !!! Please pass this mail to

all of your friends.

I just had a look and it said that it is a hoax

this is one of those emails that tries to scare people about a virus and instead just ends up clogging up mailboxes. That is the whole point of this one. Definitely not a virus.

For everyone that thinks its a hoax i actually think it might be real.
I just loked n DP hotmail inbox and there was a 'hello neighbour' thing in there. I wasnt game enough to open it.

If you think its a hoax would you like me to send it to you and you can open it and let me know. lol.

Another good website to check hoax emails is

It said this particular hoax email has been circulating since 2001.
It will also tell you which ones are true.
I've been getting these for a couple of weeks now but as soon as i see them i delete them without opening them.
Just checked my email and there was another two.
