mums in their 20's!! Lock Rss

Hi everyone! I've been a member of this site for a while now, (not too long), and through all your posts i feel like i've gotten to know a fair bit about some of you. I was thinking, though, wouldn't it be nice to get to know some of you, (especially the YOUNG 'UNS) a little better. So maybe all you young mums out there could just give us a little introduction about yourselves here, and then we can get CHATTING!! I am early 20's, but I get told all the time that I look a lot younger! People are always surprised when they hear that I have a four and a half month old, especially if they don't know how old I am, as they tend to assume 'VERY YOUNG'!! Maybe we could do kind of an introduction survey ... here's a few questions to get us started ... if you think of any more, feel free to add em on!! Okay, here goes:

Name: Caryn
Age: early 20's
Location: Melbourne
No. of kids: ONE
Age of kids: 4 and a half months
Marital status: I have an amazing partner!!

Well, here's to all us young mums!! Let's get chatting!!

Hi Caryn

Sounds like a good idea, here are my details

Name: Shelley
Age: 26
Location: Hobart
No. of Kids: One, & one on the way
Age: 6 (7 in two weeks)
Marital status: I have a great caring partner

I know what you mean about people not believing you when it comes to the age of your child. It seems as though a lot of parents are older than me and it makes you feel quite weird inside, I feel quite left out at school etc because of my age.

It would be great to chat to some others in the same situation.
