This is a Tax/Child Care Rebate Question. Does anyone know if we can claim the 2006/2007 year as well as the 2005/2006 year. I know previously we could only claim the previous year eg 2005/2006 we would claim this year, but I thought after the last budget that they said we could claim both this year as the Rebate was changing. Does anyone know?

Like Mama173 I also write a list and stick to it, so that I'm not buying things that we dont really need.;

We spend between $100-$130 a week including meat and fruit & veg. I buy as much stuff as I can in bulk when on sale, eg toilet roll, washing powder etc. Its amazing how much you save. We might need a loaf of bread or something like that mid week but thats about it. For those of you spending a fortune on cleaning products have you tried Enjo? I use the bathroom and kitchen glove. They seem expensive when you initially buy them, but I havent had to buy cleaning products (for bathroom, vanity, shower, bath and kitchen) for about 3 years now, so actually they work out quite cheap.

I would love to come but it depends on what day you choose. Mon-Wed is definitely out for me as I work in town on those days. Can probably swindle it for a Thursday (even though I'm meant to be working from home on that day). Saturday would be fine for me as well. If none of those days suit anyone else thats fine, I'll hang out till the end of the year when I finish work and will starting joining in then.

Hi Ladies I go to Contours in SA and have found them great. I am currently pregnant and intend to keep going until I'm about 6/7 months. In regards to the weights I've found it handy having to change the weights yourself, as you do get used to a certain weight on a machine and will after a while need to increase the weight. I have noticed since being pregnant that I have had to drop a couple of my weights on selected machines back a notch as I was straining to much. I have been going for about 10 months, at least 3 times a week, sometimes up to 5. All up I have lost about 60cms and about 15kg, and thats really without watching what I eat to much. Of course that will all change now that I'm pregnant, but they will put my membership on hold when I decide to stop and will re-activate it when I decide to go back. I think both are pretty much the same, and you just need to weigh up which one you like best. I didnt have a Curves near me, and got a good membership/joining fee deal w...

My DD and DP bath together at least once a week, sometimes more. They both have a ball and I see nothing wrong with it. DP gets a bit embarassed sometimes and just covers his bits with his hand, but apart from that DD has no issues at all. We'll continue to do it until DD feels uncomfortable.

Thanks for the replies ladies. I think I will give them a call to check it out.

I have posted this in Communities SA/NT as thats where I'm from but thought I would post here as well. I am 12 1/2 weeks pregnant with my 2nd child and will be going to Lyell McEwin this time around. I had DD at Centrals but maternity there has closed and I have cancelled my private health cover. When pregnant with Emma I had my obst. appointments every 4 weeks until about 30 weeks. I had my first appointment at Lyell Mc at 8-9 weeks and saw a midwife, and have just realised my next appointment isn't until I'm 20 weeks. I thought this was quite strange. I was presuming I would go every 4 weeks again. Do you think I should ring the hospital and check this or is it normal?

Hi Tamara You can get the wooden tracks from Toy Kingdom toy stores. There is one at Gawler (where my sister got mine from), not sure where the others are, but just check in the white pages. Good luck
